BIOGRAPHY

My name is Kiran Kaur. I am a recent graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) where I studied Marketing and Design. I am currently a freelance marketer with a focus on Digital and Social Media Marketing. I've worked with many businesses and startups, helping them establish an online presence to writing business proposals to promoting their product and service.

I am the youngest of two children and also a First Generation college student, so I know how difficult it can be to navigate your college journey on your own. That is why I created to a podcast called 9T8 Podcast was a way to communicate my tips, tricks, and advice to those going through a similar stage in their life. Along with 9T8 Podcast, I am also the founder of 9T8 Dance. This is a dance channel on YouTube where I learn and perform to dance covers with my friends. Not only are staying active and expressing ourselves through a positive outlet, but I am also improving my filming and editing skills I am someone that wants to make the world a better place however I can.

I'm passionate about pursuing a career in the Entertainment Industry. I am particularly interested in working in concert marketing. While at my university I gained Event Planning and Marketing experience through my positions on the Campus Activities Board (CAB). In my role as President and VP of Marketing & Communications, I worked closely with BLAP Productions, an external production agency that have produced events like the Northern Nights Festival in San Francisco every year.
